Today was the day, Swedish House Mafia opened the gates to their One Last Tour and won the Internet.
Selling out shows like it’s nothing, it was only a matter of minutes before others were added.
In a set up extremely well prepared and executed the Swedish group, who announced it was its last tour, had OneLastTour.comgrabbing all the attention of people from New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago, rushing to Ticketmaster to order tickets for a tour starting in February, 2013.

Billboard.biz ads that incredibly, the group has done this with total U.S. album sales of 57,000 units and total track sales of 897,000 units, according to Nielsen Soundscan. The trio’s two New York shows in March — Madison Square Garden (they were the first DJ act to headline the arena) and Barclays Center — sold out in less than 8 minutes, precipitating the addition of a two more Brooklyn shows (March 3 sold out, the March 4 date is on sale now).

A similar scenario played out in Chicago, where the group’s Feb. 20 gig at the United Center sold out in 5 minutes. Three nights were added in San Francisco (Feb. 13, 14 and 15) along with a second show in Los Angeles on March 8.

Swedish House Mafia will close out the outing at LA’s State Historic Park on March 9th where they will perform for some 35,000 people at part of their Masquerade Motel.
According to the act’s label, EMI/Astralwerks, the international One Last Tour trek will be SHM’s “most extensive and extravagant shows to date.” It kicks off in Dubai on Nov. 16 and will also hit India, Russia and South Africa for the first time. A companion comp, Until Now, is due out on Oct. 22nd.
It features the song “Don’t You Worry Child” whose video has received more than 7.7 million views in two weeks.

The Dutch Electro House DJ and producer drops his signature sound on Cherry Cherry Boom Boom’s new song “One & Only.”
Very good call from Martin (of his real name), that Chainsaw Madness fits perfectly on top of that cheerful pop song. Judge for yourself.

The Dutch DJ and Electro House producer was talking about his music, clearly including his live sets in it.
The proof is in the following video as he releases 40mns of his set performed earlier this summer at Tomorrowland.

One of our favorite tune from last year (and that still gets plays on my iPod.. true story) made by Dutch wonderkid DJ R3hab and titled “Sending My Love” gets the bootleg treatment from fellow hard-hitting remixer Tommy Trash.
The Australian Electro House producer and DJ mixes it with Calvin Harris’ “Flashback”, a song that racked an impressive 8M views on YouTube (combined from various sources).

“The workin man is the tough guy,” you might have heard De Niro say on the radio lately.
No surprise, superstar rapper 50 Cent recently dropped his new single “New Day” that features this quote taken off 1993 gangster movie A Bronx Tale as the opening line of a song that sees no others than Alicia Keys on the hook while Dr Dre drops hot bars on it.
Erick Morillo got the call and recently dropped an electro version of the track during his recent Governor’s Island NYC takeover along with Dirty Dutch’s very own DJ Chuckie.

For having the chance to sit down with R3hab at Pacha NYC, we know that the Dutch EDM DJ and producer is an interesting and warm character.
The good folks over at Electronic Spotlight took him around the streets of Los Angeles before he went on dropping his Chainsaw Madness at LA’s famous Club Playhouse.
“It’s like a roller coaster ride.. good break down with a nice build and.. big drop!” so his R3hab’s music in his own words.
“it’s hard to make the best music,” he then explains saying it can be stressful to be a successful DJ/producer, “still a lot of fun” though.
Fadil El Ghoul - of his real name - also explains the process behind making remixes and especially his Lady Gaga remix “Judas” that put him on the mainstream map last year; working with Afrojack on “Prutataaa” which, like most of us, he explains “have no idea [what the title means].”
You will also learn that his mom wanted him to be a banker, “that didn’t work out” he jokingly says.
